   Welcome to the City College of New York Confocal Microscopy Laboratory. This website has been created to assist microscope users in correct and effective use of our instrument.

  Our lab is equipped with LSM 510 Confocal Laser Scanning System manufactured by Carl Zeiss Inc. LSM 510 is capable of acquiring highest quality digital images at resolutions close to theoretical limits of light microscopy. With LSM 510 you have access to top quality hardware and software that work together to simplify imaging process. When using our confocal microscope you can expect to obtain excellent data that will greatly supplement your research.
